This
is
the
upper
and
lower
jaw
of the
Sand
Shark
.
It
lives
mostly
on the
bottom
of the
sea
or
close
to
it
, and
is
more
active
at
night
than by
day
. The
Sand
Shark's
chief
diet
is
small
fish
, but they also
eat
lobster
,
crab
, and
squid
. These
sharks
can
grow
up
to
around
six
feet
in
length
. They
can
be
found
in the
coastal
waters
on
both
sides
of the
Atlantic
; in the
West
from
Maine
to
Florida
, and in the
Mediterranean
and
tropical
West
African
waters
in the
East
.
